Wild Life
Though Sri Lanka is very small in land area, the great diversity in habitats harbours are a rich and diverse fauna and flora, with many species endemic to the island. Sri Lanka has strived to provide sanctuary and protection to it's beautiful wildlife. There are many wild life reserves, nature parks and sanctuaries established throughout Sri Lanka and extremely popular with local and overseas visitors.

Yala National Park

Situated in the south east of the country Yala is the most popular wild life safari destination and home to leopards, elephant, deer, bear, wild bore, wild buffalo and peacock and may varieties of birds.
Pinnawala


The world's first Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala is the most popular wild life attraction. Should not miss the daily feeding and bathing time.
Horton Plains

Situated near Nuwara Eliya, a place where you could experience the panoramic scenic beauty of the hill country and the famous `Worlds End' in addition to the wild life .
Wasgamuwa National park

Wasgamuwa National park stands unique among the most of national parks in Sri Lanka and the only national park in the Central province where one could see elephants in their natural habitats .
